”Brand new hostel in Playa del Carmen (and the best location in town). Everything is clean and comfortable, and it’s nice to have a rooftop pool and co-working space. All the staff members are super friendly and helpful. You don’t have to be a young backpacker to stay here, the vibe is calm & relaxed, not a party hostel. I ended up extending my stay many times, thank you! ”

”We just got back from 10 nights at the Mahekal. We got a free upgrade as it was low season, which was great, though the view from the balcony was poor in one room. Check-in was smooth, cleaning was thorough and regular and the facilities were great. No problems finding a spot at the pools or the beach. The only downsides were that my son lost his key card on the second day and the receptionist wanted US$15 for a new one, which is a ridiculous price — many hotels do them for free and we had spent...

”Great clean and comfortable and safe new flat. Walking distance to Quinta Ave and grocery stores. Great pool area. There is some noise from the night club until 3 am, but I did not mind. Also construction across the street, so it is not nice to use the balcony. Nevertheless, very nice stay for a great price.”

”Dies ist ein charmantes Boutiquehotel.
Es besticht durch geschmackvolle Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten und ein fantastisches Frühstück im Garten.
Lärm dürfte überall in Playa del Carmen ein Problem sein, so hört man auch hier den Lärm vom Restaurant nebenan. Mit Ohrstöpseln lässt sich das aber gut lösen. ”

”I feel sorry for this hotel, but as many have recently commented, the VERY noisy bar/nightclub across the street is a major problem. Even using ear plugs didn't really help, as you could still hear the music and almost feel the bass.
Otherwise the hotel was nice and staff were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful.”

”We spend a few nights here just to relax and have a good time. And that we did! Overall, a comfortable experience where we did get our monies worth. The hotel itself was clean, and well cared for. ”They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They welcomed us with a refreshing cucumber lemonade. Ezequiel lobby bartender, Manuel waitrer from Asiana restaurant,Jose (el capitan) and the manager from the luggage which I don't remember his name they were attentive, courteous and always ready to help. The room was spacious, bright and had everything we need it. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The property looked luxurious and with amazing views to Isla conzumel. ”
