Sara’s upstairs suite was just the perfect place to enjoy the Peaceful Montana wilderness. Loved watching the deer and “black” bunnies from the deck with our morning coffees.We were close to our daughter in Marion and loved hanging out at the Hill Top Saloon. Great stay!

Montana Stay
This property was awesome. The owners are super friendly but stay out of the way unless you want to chat. There was wildlife around and the surrounding forest was beautiful. This house was super clean and very close to Little Bitter Root Lake, MacGregor and Little McGregor Lake. There is a cute little coffee and bakery down the road and a great little bar and cafe.

The apartment was big and comfortable! Felt like home the moment we walked in. Spacious bathroom with fabulous towels and a big deck to sit outside and enjoy the cool air. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Montana Home
The apartment is huge with two very comfy beds at either end. Very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful deck and grill. Very good property for pets. Sara provided great attention to detail with great bedding, towels, comfy sofa, area guide magazines, etc. Having a kitchen w/ good sized fridge was very convenient. Would stay again if in area.

Home Away From Home
This suite was wonderful. It was very clean and well stocked with every need. The suite was much larger than we expected. It had a sleep number bed and all the comforts of home. It was so nice to come back from a day of sightseeing and relax in the quiet of the woods. The owner was very friendly and helpful in giving us info about sights to see, directions and places to eat. We had a great time!

Great spot for a family of 4!
The rental was so clean and comfortable and perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. The wifi was great for work and the deck was nice for grilling each night. It was pretty hot out during part of our stay but all the fans, windows, and swamp cooler kept everything cool in the late afternoon/evening when we needed it. Property is beautiful and my kids loved watching your rabbits...thanks!

Worth the drive
A bit of a drive from Kalispell and Glacier NP, but well worth it for us. Close to lakes and tons of outdoor activities. Clean, comfy, nice bedding & towels. Kitchen and bathroom provisions were awesome, as was the deck. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean—very secluded!
We enjoyed our 3-day stay at this loft apartment near Marion, MT. It was our access point for Glacier National Park which actually was just over an hour from the rental to the West Glacier entrance. Marion is very small with only one bar/restaurant (Hitching Post) and a tiny convenience store attached to a gas station. So going to eat requires a trip to Kalispell (about 20 minutes) which is a nice town. We had a couple of issues—all of which were our fault for not checking out all amenities. There is no AC which actually turned out to be a problem because we arrived in MT in the middle of an unusual heat wave. Sleeping in the loft was difficult, even with fans and a swamp cooler. Also, we failed to realize that this rental did not have a washer/dryer or stove. We had assumed we could wash clothes when we got there only to have to hunt for a distant laundromat (there is one quite near but it wasn’t listed on google). We needed to reheat pizza which isn’t good if reheated in microwave (provided). But these issues were our fault—the rental did not list stove, washer/dryer or AC. The deck is lovely but was too hot in evening because it gets afternoon sun during this heatwave. Also there are 20 steps to get to the rental which can be daunting for senior citizens who have a lot of luggage because staying in MT for a month. The rental was VERY CLEAN and the host, Sara, very kindly responded quickly to all concerns. We also loved seeing all the cute, friendly black bunnies who congregated around our car.

This record heat wave is crazy! Not what anyone could have predicted. Our home nor the suite has A/C and we have never felt a need for it....60° this morning. Mountain living! The portable swamp cooler is great when placed by the bed you choose to sleep in...noticed it was on the opposite side of the suite. We are a rural mountain town but have a few choices for dining...McGregors Lodge, right on beautiful McGregor lake is a great place, about 5 miles west....serves 3 meals a day, 365 days a year. The Marion Trading Company, has excellent breakfast and lunch, homemade pastries and excellent coffees!! Kayak rentals as well! The Hitching Post serves lunch and dinner, great broasted chicken!! Safe travels and stay cool!

Great property!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was in a beautiful location and easy to find. It was very comfortable and clean. It felt way more inviting and homey than any hotel ever could. Easy access to multiple outdoor adventures. Really soft bedsheets and soft, fluffy, white bath towels. Lots of personal touches - homemade bath soap, local area activity resources, books and games for the family. My favorite part was drinking coffee on the large deck enjoying nature in the cool morning air. Thank you!!

Spacious, private and restful
The guest suite exceeds expectations. It is very spacious with king beds at opposite ends of the large space. This is great for families or friends. (There are no walls within the suite.) There is a well-equipped kitchen space with microwave, hot plate, sink and refrigerator. There is a coffee maker and a generous supply of coffee and some sweetener. Bring own creamer or milk. The kitchen does not include food or cooking needs (oils, spices,etc). But it is great snacks, breakfast foods, or for heating prepared foods. The property is like a nature preserve and quiet inside and out. The private deck is adjacent and offers a great view of stars and lots of satellites moving across the sky. Be prepared to carry bags up the stairway to the deck and entrance. The suite is very clean. Carpet is new and keeps it quiet. There are lots of Windows for light and fresh air.

Beautiful secluded space
The rental was a beautiful open floorplan with plenty of neat books about the area and games to keep you occupied. We would not be bored. The entry way looked to be in the middle of renovating, but was nice and cleaned up. I only mention it because we thought we were at the wrong place at first. I'm curious to see how they use the space in the future. Overall, it was a nice place to stay. I would change the table cloth because there were a few items that were hidden on it from the previous stay. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. FYI for future guests. .. We started renovating the seperate hallway area late winter 2020, we removed the nasty carpet .. not really expecting to have many guests this year due to COVID. Much to our surprise we have been booked solid for months, so the flooring is not installed in the hallway, however, everything else is complete, fresh paint and new trim in this area. We love dogs and are very dog friendly . With all of this under consideration we are trying to decide on what to install.... carpet, to cut down on noise from guests and their fur babies or hardwood as it is easier to keep clean??? Most guests think it's a wonderful rental. Usually described as sparkling clean. I will double check with our cleaning person and make sure we double check everything in the future. Fantastic stay in Marion, Montana
We had a fantastic stay at this property, it was everything we had hoped it would be and more. We make frequent trips to Montana and this one was the best. We had the opportunity to meet the owners of the property, they were so nice.. this area was perfect too, nice and quiet!! The property was clean, spacious and beds were so comfortable. We recommend it highly and can’t wait to return!!

The room was large and roomy with more than adequate supplies. Sara and her husband were very inviting making us feel right at home. The rental was clean throughout. There are many lakes and trails to enjoy. I will recommend this location to friends who enjoy having fun outdoors.

Sara’s place was amazing. The space was much bigger than I expected, and had everything I needed and more for a comfortable stay. Very clean, with extra sanitizer and disinfectant wipes left out :) Pictures do not do it justice! The property is beautiful and quiet. She made my dog and me feel extremely welcome and comfortable, and was quick to respond to all communications and give information about the area. Could not have wished for a better stay!

Excellent base camp for exploring area surrounding Marion MT. Tons of stuff to do... we hiked to Lupine Lake, toured gorgeous Ashley Lake, flyfished Lake Rogers, explored Lost Trail wildlife refuge. Hosts were excellent. Only downside is some road noise. But that was probably accentuated during our stay over July 4 weekend. Overall great place to stay. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained property and the owner was prompt in responding to my messages. I do think it is important that they let people know in advance that you will have to climb 20 steps to get into the rental, though. That was a little tough on bad knees.

Montana trip
We really enjoyed our time in Sara's home. We felt relaxed from the moment we walked in. Very spacious for our family of 4 with 2 very comfortable beds on the opposite ends of the suite. Room for the boys to play cars, watch t.v., and play games. Perfect for our time before heading to Glacier or after spending time in the nearby towns. We ate breakfast and our last dinner here-- using the table on the patio for our last night there. Beautiful area to enjoy. We would love to stay again! Thank you, Sara!

Perfect weekend getaway!
