Such a Gem
This place is very nice. The staff is extremely kind and all of them seemed genuinely happy. The food was some of the best I have ever had. To put more perspective, we ate at a Michelin star restaurant in Amsterdam a few days before arriving in Morrocco. The chef at the Riad Dar Alfarah could easily hold her own against a Michelin star chef, it was that good. We ordered the Lamb and the Moroccan Pastilla.

Very nice staff but dishonest manager
The staff was smiling and welcoming, they did their best to make us feel comfortable. But I had called beforehand to shorten my stay which was confirmed on the phone and at check-in. Nevertheless, the manager managed to steal 5 nights by saying he had no idea. Hotels.com was helpless. I am truly disgusted and can only advise to avoid this place because of their dishonesty. That was not acceptable and left a very bitter taste about Morocco, Marrakech and Hotels.com.

The best Riad in Marrakesh
I have been to Marrakesh 5 times and this was by far the best visit mostly because of this Riad. Not only was it excellent value for money for the luxury of the place, room and breakfast but the service was second to none. Mohammad was the best host and we felt like we were staying at his home rather than a multi-bedroom Riad.

This Riad was just perfect for our stay! The location is ideal as it is just outside the hustle and bustle meaning it is quiet and very relaxing whilst inside the Riad but only a short walking distance to the markets etc. The Riad itself is spotlessly clean and the service which we received from Khalid and Yasmin (sorry if spellings are wrong!) was brilliant, nothing was ever too much. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

Riad Dar Alfarah is an absolute GEM! Perfectly located in the Medina (old city) areand and in walking distance from most tourist attractions. It's also very easy to get to as it's not too hidden as some other Riads are. The staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Greated us with amazing mint tea on arrival and the manager Mohamed offered great advice and local information. Our room was spacious, clean (daily) and very charismatic. The pool and rooftop areas were also gorgeous and very relaxing! The riad definitely made our stay amazing! Highly recommending this amazing place, transporting you away from the busy streets of Marrakech.

Mohammed and team are very nice and helpful. The Riad is in a quieter location which is great and takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the DJemaa El Fna Sq. There are other nearer squares and restaurants within a 5 minute walk where it is more quiet and nice. Mohammed helped us arrange a taxi to the Majorelle and Menara gardens. Nothing felt too much hassle. Breakfast was very good. Rooms very nice and spacious. We had a suite for a family of 4 (2 teenagers). Only thing I would say is that the cleaning of the bathroom could be better and perhaps little things like a bottle of water every day would make a difference but that would still not stop us from highly recommending the Riad.

Mohammed and Khalid are really nice staff members. The atmosphere is amazing with the indoor pool. Really good location, as it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main square and souks. Loved the air con machine after a lot of walking in the souks.

Wonderful experience
Wonderful, traditional Riad, in a fantastic location. Just a couple of minutes from the Badi palace and Saadian tombs. We had an amazing visit and fell in love with Marrakech. We loved our Riad and cannot fault the service of the staff who could not do enough for us. We were absolutely thrilled with Mohammed and his team and would not hesitate to recommend the Riad Dar Alfarah to others. Impressed too, by the Expedia staff. Everything was very efficiently organised. Thank you.

Great place to stay perfect location , staff it’s oncredible nice and helpful, the location it’s perfect walking distance to most attraction. The style and standards it’s high, the breakfast is good and if you decide to have dinner one of your night will be a good one also we request a airport transfer as we’re late flight and all work great and they reply as soon I request. Beautiful Traditional Riad
We had an amazing long weekend in Marrakech. The Riad was gorgeous and a short 5min walk to the main square and souks. The staff where friendly, helpful and where on hand to assist with any questions. We where amazed at how quiet and tranquil the Riad was when it was so close to the hustle and bustle of the square.

Nice hotel, great location
On arrival, we asked the taxi driver to call the Riad so someone would meet us who knew where they were going. We were met by Mohamed who was brilliant, as were all staff. He down with us, explained everything on a map, and the dos and don'ts of the Main square. Rooms were just what we wanted, with good facilities. The Road location was great. Would definitely recommend!!

Traditional Riad in the Medina, Marrakech
Had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Riad Dar Alfarah. Our standard room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom with a beautiful traditional Moroccan-tiled shower. The Riad is in a great location for exploring the city and is a little calm oasis in the hustle & bustle of the Medina, Marrakech. Mohamed, Ahmed & the team were welcoming and hospitable and did everything they could to make our visit a great experience - including giving us a useful map and lots of helpful tips and suggestions. The food was home cooked, delicious breakfasts & meals, the service warm and friendly. Top tip - have a "Hamman" (traditional Morocco scrub/steam room & massage) at the Dar Alfarah sister hotel. Our first visit to Marrakech, but hopefully not our last. We'll be recommending Riad Dar Alfarha to friends and family and would definitely choose to stay there again.

Amazing stay at Riad Dar Alfarah.
Me and My boyfriend spent 10 nights in Marrakech, staying at the beautiful Riad Al Farah. We were welcomed at Al Farah with open arms...the staff were amazing, from start to finish! Especially Sam...who spent everyday going above and beyond for us with a smile on his face, and taking the time out of his day to talk to everyone and pay an interest in your day...as well as delivering high class service! They were also extremely helpful when organising restaurants and excursions...Mohammed took care of all of our trips! Fantastic staff! Riad Al Farah is 10min walk from the main Medina and Souks area. It's a nice walk past all the fresh fruit, BBQ stalls and bread vans. Also very local to a main taxi rank. For taxis always haggle as they will over charge you if not. It's also very close to 2 Palace's which are a must see (Details listed below). The location for us was perfect as it wasn't bang in the middle of the hustle and bustle, it was perfect because you could sunbathe in peace. Not only were the staff good here at Al Farah but the Riad itself is beautiful, open air peaceful pool area with rooftop sunbathing optional to containing huge comfy sunbeds! The Riad was always kept clean, beautiful flowers and plants surrounding us...which was a delight to wake upto every morning while being served the famous breakfasts! Pancakes, Fresh Fruit, Crumpets, Yogurt, Coffee, Tea, Cereals, breads, eggs of your choice etc Perfect way to start the day!

Fantastic and peaceful haven in a hectic city
This Riad offers a relaxing retreat in the centre of a busy city. We almost don't want to rate it too highly in case everyone books it and they don't have space for us to make a return visit! The bedroom was simple but comfortable with nothing necessary missing and the bathroom feels luxurious and authentic. We had a room on the ground floor with the door opening straight out onto the courtyard and the pool, where we also ate breakfast every morning. We were a little overwhelmed arriving late in the evening in busy Marrakech, but as soon as we stepped inside the Riad and the door shut behind us, it was peaceful, calm, and felt like home. After a busy day in the souks or seeing the sights of Marrakech, we enjoyed sitting by the pool and having a mint tea before heading out again for dinner. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. They made our stay perfect.

Riad Dar Alfarah review
I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the breakfast was really limited it was good. The only negative I would say is that I booked a room for 4 people, 2 Single beds and a double-bed with Air-Conditioning. The room with the double-bed had AC but as there was a wall blocking the two rooms for obvious privacy reasons. The second room became extremely hot and it was difficult to sleep in. So I had one really cold room and one really hot room and I did ask for a fan for the second room but the hotel did not have one. Apart from this issue I had a really enjoyable time in Marrakesh and stay in this hotel. Highly recommended!!!!!

Overall I really enjoyed staying at the Riad although there were a few things we weren't very happy with, one of the staff was very rude to a number of Guests while we were there, her name was Bridget, she was rude and unhelpful. All of the other staff were a delight and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was poor and often there was no one there to serve you in the morning so you had to wait. The pancakes were inedible and breakfasts were mostly bread. The room was very clean apart from the bedspread which was over the bedding and the scatter cushions smelt of sweat on arrival. The bed was rather hard and in general the hotel looked like it was starting to fall apart a little. There was a wall light hanging off the wall in the bathroom on arrival and that was never fixed. There was also only WIFI in the lobby by the pool which was a little disappointing. The Riad was beautiful but was looking a little tired. Never the less I loved the experience and stay apart from those parts.

We had a mixed experience here, the service by one gentleman was outstanding ( sorry we didn't catch his name), he couldn't do enough for us and was always very helpful. The other staff (I think the owners) appeared less friendly which was a real shame, and in stark contrast to the other member of staff and our experience a few days earlier at riad dar beldia, which cost around half the price but was lovely. No denying the rooms were lovely, bathroom amazing and the breakfast was really special (as many other have commented on!) including a home made yoghurt which was probably the best I had ever tasted!! The road is really well located and would go again if there was a special price but don't think I would pay the regular price as others appear to offer better value for money. One point is that if you need to get a taxi to the hotel you can just walk out and get one for about 9 euros, whereas the riad would charge you 20 to organise.

Lovely traditional moroccan riad.
We had a wonderful stay in the riad, would definitely recommend to a friend, an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pool larger than we expected, and a lovely roof sun terrace to relax in. Very peaceful, staff lovely, breakfast good. The only constructive comments i have are the lack of drink facilities during the daytime, they did serve tea if you asked but not on general offer and our air con not working which made sleeping difficult, however im sure they would have helped if we had asked, we just chose to put up with it. Overall charming, and great location for the medina and old city, thank you.

première fois que nous séjournons dans un riad marocain, j’ai mis des jours à choisir THE riad où nous nous sentirions dépaysé dans un riad ambiance 1001 nuits, je ne me suis vraiment pas trompé en choisissant ce riad. Personnel accueillant, souriant, disponible tout en étant très discret. La décoration un mélange de traditionnel et de modernité, piscine chauffée, cadre reposant et reposant. Nous avons eu l’occasion de dîner au bord de la piscine un soir avec bougies et pétales de roses, quoi de plus romantique. Nous avons tout simplement adoré.

Parto dal pagamento che è stato la sorpresa peggiore. Expedia mi ha fornito il costo in euro (già abbastanza salato per la località) alla prenotazione, da saldare in loco. Il prezzo si è rivelato non adeguato allo standard offerto, ma oltre a questo è stato fatto il conto nella valuta locale con un cambio soggettivo altissimo (cosa assurda) e a questo è stato aggiunta una commissione del 3,5% per il pagamento con carta di credito (cosa che ci viene specificata all'arrivo ma non da expedia precedentemente e chi paga in contanti?) Trovo queste ultime pratiche molto poco corrette tanto da rendere inaccettabile il rapporto qualità prezzo! Peccato perchè basterebbe poco per rendere il posto perfetto e per non far sentire il cliente "fregato". La struttura si trova in posizione ideale, 500 mt dalla piazza, nella medina ma fuori dal caos della Kasbah. In sè il riad è piacevole, buon colpo d'occhio all'arrivo. Il ricevimento buono e buoni anche i servizi accessori (anche se non funzionante la SPA). Discreta anche la colazione sebbene un po' limitata. La camera è molto basic, non molto pulita, con scendiletto macchiati, tolti dopo la segnalazione fatta in una precedente recensione e senza i servizi fondamentali: abbiamo avuto un salviettone da bagno a testa ed una salvietta da viso da usare in 4. Le salviette sono arrivate solo dopo due giorni e altrettante richieste. Non aspettatevi televisione, frigobar o set di cortesia in bagno... solo saponetta per le mani e dispenser in doccia.

Goed verblijf in Riad te Marrakesh
‘We zijn met de taxi van het hotel toe gekomen : prijs 25€ ,is wel aan te raden want anders vind je nooit de riad, we werden vriendelijk onthaald met duidelijke uitleg en glaasje munt thee. De riad ligt op 10 min stappen van het plein , is rustig gelegen maar toch centraal , ontbijt was goed maar sober. Jammer dat zwembadje nooit in de zon komt en beneden ligt. We hebben lunch genomen in de riad en dat was voortreffelijk, superlekker en op terras boven in zonnetje, zalig !

Séjour très agréable au Riad Dar Alfarah, tout le personnel est souriant et très serviable. Magnifique piscine et patio sur le toit. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir quand il fera un peu plus chaud :)

La ubicación es excelente, lo suficientemente cerca para caminar s todo lados pero lo suficientemente lejos para dormir tranquilo. Khalid hizo la diferencia con un excelente servicio y ayudándonos con buenos consejos. El desayuno es muy bueno!!

모로코 숙박 중 가장 깔끔하고 만족했습니다. 다만 구글맵에서 찾아가기 굉장히 힘듭니다.. 이 부분만 힘들구요.. 일반 주택가에 사이에 있구요.. 간판도 명확하지 않아서 ㅠㅠ엄청 헤매다 현지 꼬마애가 찾아줬습니다. 근데 정말 깔끔하고 근데 밤에ㅡㅡ직원이 시티세 2유료였는데 2.5유료 달라고 했습니다. 다시 확인해달라고 하니 2유료 받더라구요. 이런 경우 꼭 말씀하셔야 할 것 같아요!
