Definitely worth taking up the parking and transfer option given the steep hills and cobbled streets that are very atmospheric but take a bit of puff to navigate! â
âWe had a fantastic stay In The honeymoon room, it was warm, comfy, and the bath was amazing. Breakfast in bed before leaving was great. Parking is difficult in Matera but if lucky you can get a space right outside like we managed too. Antonio was great throughout our stay. â

âThis was hands down our favourite stay of our whole trip! The location was wonderful and central. The host was very helpful and told us lots about what to see and where to go. She was also helpful in checking in and in allowing us to hold our bags there until later in the afternoon. The interior of the room was so elegant and our balcony overlooked the street below. âExcellent little hotel with good location. We appreciated shuttle service provided by nearby private parking garage (recommended by the hotel also). Our cave was perfect for sleeping, no outside noise at all. The bed was a bit too hard for us, though. Several restaurants in very short walking distance. â
