The location and the Unit were great. Unfortunately building had problems with a/c for 1 day. Glad it was not summer. Also. Keep in mind that there is construction next door with heavy machinery for the development of a new resort. So, if u are planing to sleep in you might be disappointed. I was fine and I would go back. Maria is a great host and always ready to help!

Good over all experience, however we did request to change rooms after the 1rst night due to the noise of the jack hammering concrete of the construction site next door (for an additional cost of $150 per night) and we did not receive maid service for the entire week.

Another excellent stay

This is our second stay at Marenas! The view is spectacular, room is large, the hotel has all the amenities needed. Highly recommend this family oriented hotel!

Beautiful views, not so beautiful apartment and staff

The building overall is in need of renovations and maintenance. You can clearly tell its an old building and several places/items need to be fixed. For example, hardly any lights outside on the lounge area. You can see where the lights were/are, but they're just not on or working. One sliding door in our room was broken and couldnt open the closet area. Thankfully, we didn't need the closet space. Regarding cleaning, it was terrible. The toilet had 2 pee stains underneath the seat and a pubic hair on the seat. Also, the bathtub was moldy. I did ask concierge right after check-in to please have someone "re-clean" the toilet seat as there were pee stains and check the sliding door. When we went back in the room, we did notice someone came inside ONLY because they left what i call, a sarcastic note saying, "thank you very much" in spanish (at least i took it as sarcasm because i am still cluesless as to why or for what are they are thanking me. My guess is they thanked me for making them go back to the room to "clean"). When i checked the toilet seat, the stains were still there which obviously the cleaning staff did nothing going back up. I had no other option than to clean it myself. The valet and beach staff are very friendly and give an amazing service. However, the staff at the front desk, not so much. Very unprofessional with the exception of one. Her name is Chiqui. Unfortunately, we will not stay here again nor recommend it.

Amazing property...i didnt expect much for the price but i was very impressed by the location and how clean and comfortable the place was. I am very picky and ill definitely consider this again next time i come to miami. Beautiful beaches...quiet and good food in area.

This property is filled with families and children. The pool was basically a kiddie pool and the chairs on the beach are SOOOO close to one another it's claustrophobic. Good for families only.

Best Resort!

I absolutely love the Marena’s! It’s my favorite place to stay at on my quarterly getaway’s to relax & sit at the beach. The food is delicious too at the restaurant! Excellent staff throughout the hotel.

I was charged double for the daily resort fees. Expedia charged me and so did the resort. The A.C. was broken and it was very hot. The bathroom sink was leaking and there was water all over the sink. The hotel staff was not helpful and didn’t care.

All about the host

We had reservations for a month earlier and I hurt my leg playing soccer 2 days before or trip. I was last the full refund point but Maria let me use my nights to rebook anyways. That’s service. We have already rebooked her condo again just because of that. View is good. Kitchen has everything you need. Having a washer and dryer means I can just take a backpack on the plane.

Wonderful

The resort exceeded my expectations. Down to the fact that I didn’t think there would be a washer/dryer but there was. Resort staff was friendly and very helpful. Will recommend to others. Hopefully will be back again. There was one lightbulb out above the bed which we forgot to tell staff about.

Amazing location and view!
