”We arrived late. The lobby was busy. I later learned they were training new staff. We paid for a king bedroom and was given a queen bedroom. When we turned the sheets, we found a very big stain. They moved us and offered some snacks. We said no. We spoke to the manager the next morning. It was a nice conversation. ”In our 1st room we found many ants in our fridge and on the floor. We went to the reception to complain about it as we didn’t want to get them in our luggage. At first they rolled their eyes and said “we have nature very close” but in the end they gave us an ant-free room which was little bit more away from the casino area (less smoke smell). So overall ok hotel quite close to South Lake Tahoe which was our place to go.”

”Great location, excellent room on the 5th floor! Everything seemed fresh & new after the recent remodel. Fun in the casino downstairs, great drinks. Restaurant was a bit lacking for breakfast, they were “slammed”, probably due to a lack of other options in the area. Food came out cold, a bit slow but friendly service. She was trying! Free, secure parking out front - I wasn’t worried about my bike in the back of the truck. Will definitely return at some point!👍”

”Nice quiet family owned. Got snowed in and owner was shoveling snow first AM. Great price for safe place for night of sleep in blizzard conditions. ”

”The stay was very good. The lodge was well done. It's a renovated 70s building. We had some miscommunication from Expedia to the lodge though. I would recommend booking through them directly. The lodge honored the room but there at only one left so I could've been very unlucky if they weren't so gracious. The staff was very helpful. The pool is pretty cool even though it's heated.
