”The apartment was generally good however beds and sofas were in poor shape and extremely uncomfortable. Cooking utensils were minimal, had to purchase knives and wine glasses. No instructions provided on how to operate washer or dishwasher. No information on where to dispose of garbage and recycle. Only one fan provided for three bedroom apartment.”

”We crashed at the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes mid-afternoon after a morning exploring Guimaraes. We were almost at the end of our two-plus week trek. We were ready for down time. We spent a lovely afternoon walking the grounds, swimming in the beautiful pool [allowed though the pool wasn't yet officially open], having drinks on the terrace, and having dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was a delight.”

”Such an honor to visit this hotel and its history. Beautiful renovation and very high standard. Wonderful staff and great cousine. What more can you ask for? Put this Pousada on your list when visiting the area - that would be our recomendation.”

The location is also good - very historic, quaint, and walkable to several dining and cafe options. Only negatives were that our refrigerator didnt work and the parking was very limited.”
