”Das Maisha Nungwi ist wirklich zu empfehlen, wenn man ein kleines und feines Resort für Paare sucht.
Das Zimmer war echt top. Sehr schön und sehr sauber. Die Anlage ist auch sehr ordentlich in Schuss und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die beiden Pools sind auch schön und sehr angenehm temperiert. Das A la carte Frühstück ist super. Das Buffet Frühstück war nicht so aufregend. Während unseres Aufenthalt war immer abwechselnd A la Carte und Buffet.

”I loved the stay, the veranda with sea view was great. We had some trouble finding hot water and what was called a swimmingpool was a joke. But everyone was kind, breakfastplace calm and friendly, and the fruit and food was great.
I would rather stay at Aluna than in the more posh part of the city.”

The staff was so nice and welcoming to me and they took my luggage and show me my room and later I had dinner which was amazing and their breakfast is also good. ”Fantastiskt fint!! Utmärkt Service!! Stor eloge till Andrew en fantastisk man som gjorde vår upplevelse så mycket bättre. Sjukt hjälpsamma och trevliga människor, allihopa! Sjukt vacker utsikt över vattnet och skön pool. Bekvämt rum men en hel del insekter dock. Mycket myror och djur som var överallt i rummet. Viktigt att sova med draperiet på så det inte kryper upp något i sängen. Det enda negativa i princip. Annars riktigt fint och mysigt ställe”

We was supposed to stay at Kendwa, but because of a bank fraud (!) we left the original plan, and booked through hotels.com at this place. We are very glad how everything turned out. This location at Nungwi is good. At Kendwa we would be stuck at our resort. Here we had more flexibility on what to do all the time.

”when we were checking in ismail told us that there was something wrong with the air conditioning in our room. he therefore took us to another hotel, which was a bit more expensive and said that we could stay there for the same price if we wanted. we thought that air conditioning is good to have in Zanzibar, so we accepted the offer. therefore unfortunately I can't say much about nungwi beach front hotel. but I was in contact with ismael during the whole stay and he arranged several trips for us....
”Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool with good upkeep and generally tidy grounds. Can't really complain about anything major. Even if it's not exactly 5-star accommodation they are making a good effort to cater to the needs of westerners. The restaurant has plenty of ambience and again the staff is friendly but the service is slow (this is endemic in Zanzibar though) and the breakfast selection is quite basic.

”Nice resort. Good food. Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. Lots of lounge chairs available. Workers all over the property cleaning, raking, trimming the trees/bushes. Very well maintained public spaces. ”
”If You are looking for an American/European resort this place May disappoint you. When I travel I like authentic local places. This place is totally Africa. Breakfast was modest and great. The food to order from the kitchen was fresh and very reasonably priced. The bring the food to you in front of your bungalow. Security was good. "Tosiaan hotelli on remontin tarpeessa. Sateella huoneen katto vuosi pahasti, kylpyhuoneessa hometta (kuten monessa muussakin alueen hotellissa). Yksi pyyhe ja olisi ollut kiva myös käyttää erillistä kasvopyyhettä. Huoneessa tavaroille vain yksi kaappi & hylly. Sängyn patjassa isokuoppa ja vaatisi vaihtoa, muutenkin sänky oli erittäin lyhyt ja emme pystyneet nukkumaan suorassa. Ilmastointi ja kattotuuletin toimi hyvin, erittäin hiljaiset. Terassin tuolilla ei voinnut istua, erittäin hutera ja muutenkin epävakaa. Altaalla olevat aurinkotuolit ja aurinkovarjot vaatisivat myös uusimista. Uima-allas oli iso ja sitä putsailtiin jatkuvasti. Hotellista pääsee mukavasti suoraan rannalle, mutta rannalla ei saanut olla rauhassa. Agressiiviset retkimyyjät samantien kimpussa ja välillä tulivat jopa veteen asti myymään retkiä.
Aamupala... Erittäin surkea ja kallis tarjontaan nähden, tästä ei kannata missään nimessä maksaa. "
