”It is a good hotel. We had great stay. Room and fridge was good. We just had our room double booked, right after we checked in someone else had checked in to the same room. That was cleared quickly but the our keys did not work after so had to get them done again. Town is close by 20 min walk and metro stop less than 10min walk.”
”The Sunderland Holiday Inn staff were wonderful. I had a bad fall at the theatre and when I got back they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful, especially Kieran. He offered to take me to A&E but I did not want to go. He bathed my wound and found a plaster for it. I cannot remember the name of the other receptionist but she was equally as kind and helpful. ”Lovely few days on the North East coast. Breakfast was just what you need with both cooked options and fruit/pastry. The staff were lovely in all areas of the hotel including the gym&pool. You can't go far wrong. Our room was comfy, clean and perfect for a short stay. ”

”Really lovely room, comfy bed and facilities available. staff were very friendly and helpful, so close to the retail park and easy 3-4 minute walk to the bus stop to get into the city centre.we will be back.”

There's some towel heater in the toilet that can't be turned off at all. Toilet is constant +30-35C during summer days. In the room you can only open your window by few inches.
