”We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon! ”

”Travelled from Lancashire on the Friday and stayed until the Monday we were received with a welcome despite arriving late shown to our rooms which were very basic but comfortable. Only criticism no one replenished anything whilst we were there including toilet roll teabags et cetera however I’m sure if we have asked we would’ve got them.
Breakfast was phenomenal lots of choice cooked to perfection to order plenty of juice, cereals, fresh fruit, and yoghurt.

”This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....

”Stayed for Brighton Pride. Hotel Staff was great! Check in super fast and easy. The breakfast was good too! Only problem was that only one elevator was working. It was super busy at breakfast time and because everybody was checking out Monday because Pride was over. But everything else was great! Super Close to the train station and Park for the festival. ”
”Great location for a quick trip. Hotel is good location by the sea about 10 mins walk from train station. Nice little room at the top of the house which was greatly decorated and good view over the square out to sea. Can imagine the room gets hot on a nice day. Breakfast was nice.

”Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep.
