”the hotel is beautiful, good location but dark inside not enough light to make it bright. even the breakfast - dinner room is dark. hard to read the menu. I don't know why they keep it's dark, but I don't have any desire to book a room there again”

”Great stay at Hotel Heron! They kindly accommodated an early checkin. Interactions with the front desk staff, valet, and restaurant staff were excellent. Looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to enjoy rooftop. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable, got a great nights sleep.”

”We were a bit disappointed. We were stuck in a basement room. The hotel was not what we remembered. We went there to relive our 1st Valentine’s say, which was 28 years ago. It was a bit shabby. The Marriott chain purchased it, so we expected it to be even more special, than it was 28 years ago. There was no mention, when we checked in that the front door of the hotel, would be locked at night. We rang the bell, but received no answer. We finally realized we had to use our key card to get in....

”Room was spotless and everyone was absolutely a delight. There is NO SERVICE in the parking garage, which could be an issue in case of an emergency. The hotel is in a wonderful area close to the capital! ”

”Hotel was fine. Shuttle bus was awful! He did not stop at the hotel pickup where I was waiting (where I was supposed to be waiting!) and I had to chase him to get in the van. Then the next day he drove right past it headed to terminal two and I had to tell him to stop that he missed the hotel shuttle drop off and I need to get off the van. So instead of circling back to the stop, which would have been simple to do, he just pulled over half way between terminal 1 and 2 and just let me out to...

”We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around. The property was super clean, and the staff did a wonderful job maintaining everything spotless, which made the stay even more comfortable. The only small suggestion would be to have more restaurant options nearby, as it would make dining a little easier without needing to travel further. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we would definitely consider staying here again.”
