”Our room was clean and all the staff we interacted with were good. The Wifi was terrible and I couldn't get a 5 or 4G data signal anywhere on the property. The breakfast was awful. All the fruit had a chemical taste like it had been sprayed or washed with hand sanitizer. The eggs were cold and very hard. The coffee options were regular and regular with just whole milk. I expected better with it being something you had to pay extra for.”

”The location of this property is right in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg. It is fairly close to Merchants Square. The staff are friendly . The place was was clean. The hotel needs updating and it felt like the decor was just thrown together. We stayed in the Tazee building and it is set up like a regular hotel , but one that needed new paint and the carpet to be pulled up. It was an ok stay but I wanted a little more of the magic of being in Colonial Williamsburg.”

”Overall the property seemed well kept visually. Our room was clean and exactly as pictured. The reason I'm not leaving a 5-star review has to do with the fact that there were lots of maintenance issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the computers were down making for a much slower check in. The staff was doing their best to accommodate despite the issue. The second day we were there the elevator was out of service, and was still out of service upon our departure the following day. The last day...

”Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once.”

”The hotel was clean, air conditioning worked fine, breakfast was good, the staff that were present were friendly. However, not enough housekeepers to change or make your bed daily. The hotel offers a full size pool & whirlpool, Needs staff to police the area unruly kids jumping in whirlpool like a pool with parents present & not disciplining there children.”

”Its a great place even if a little dated. We have stayed here before and liked it enough to stay again. There were a few things that were not the greatest like my son found a cough drop wrapped in the cover of his bed and the dresser had a huge hole in the second drawer. The room didn't have a screen door like the other rooms did so I was a little disappointed about that, it was one of my wife's favorite things about the place. Only had 2 towels for 4 people but they had no issues giving me more...
