We used to live this property as it used to allow dogs in the bar area (and we have eaten at the bar as well as the area next to it many times in the past with our dog) - unfortunately they did not allow this anymore - we therefore went to Maggie’s restaurant at the desolation hotel nearby which was perfect in allowing dogs at dinner. In the fire will book that hotel instead of the Landing.”

”Reviews made me pick this location due to proximity to the heavenly gondola. Unfortunately the rooms were swelteringly hot, no AC. The overhead fan in the room did not work. The bathroom fan did not work. Turned off the heating in the room in hopes than it would cool down by the time we finished skiing. Gone the whole day and bam right back to 77 degree room. Windows don’t open so could only leave the room door propped open for some airflow. Spent two nights of no sleep before checking out two...

”Courteous staff, great price, convenient location - right across the plaza from the Heavenly gondola! Would recommend.”

”TV remote was missing and I looked for it under and behind the drawer. I found empty soda bottles and food wrappers. No Tv remote was found. I asked for a replacement TV remote. Service was not answering the call immediately. My call was put on hold then disconnected. It took me several calls and a couple of hours to ask for the replacement. The house service brought a replacement while we were out for dinner which didn’t work with the TV in our room.”

”10 min walk to Gondola. Room was clean but interior show wear. AC/Heater was pretty noisy. I remember room photo showing stove/oven but there wasn't one in the room. Staff was friendly.”
