”I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad.
Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby
I think it’s a converted garage.
May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere ”
”3 night stay. Cute English Pub. Big room. Bed is very small but comfortable. Fantastic breakfast included daily.. Had been travelling around so would have preferred washing facilities on site so had to find elsewhere off site. Would certainly return. ”

”Hyvä sijainti. Vanha kaupunki ihan vieressä. Samoin lauttasatama, jos menossa Isle of wightille. Autoparkki ihan hotellin vieressä, maksoi 7 puntaa/vrk. Hyvä monipuolinen aamupala. Ihan kiva uima-allas ja poreallas sekä sauna. ”
”Great location, friendly staff and really nice food. Staff were super proud of the efforts to use local fresh produce in the kitchen and it showed in the meals presented. Pleasant clean room and overall good value. ”
”Nice place, but no lifts. For older people, it can be very difficult to carry luggage upstairs. They will store it for you if you don’t really have to have it during your stay. Tubs are a little difficult for those with mobility issues. Otherwise, a nice place.”

”Close to the cruise port for ongoing travels. Tgi Fridays and Mcdonalds literally on your doorstep. Large rooms but no AC. Looking a bit tired but clean.”
”The location was walkable to everything in the charming town of Southampton. We stayed a couple nights before getting on a cruise ship. I recommend it! The room was very small but the location was very walkable to restaurants and around the block to Notre Dame Cathedral. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly! A+++

”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...
