”I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad.
Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby
I think it’s a converted garage.
May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere ”
”Ideally placed for the New Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth, we stayed 1 night while visiting the New Forest. We were made to feel welcome, which instantly made us relaxed. The room was clean, well decorated, the bed was comfortable. The bed linen and towels felt luxurious. The weekend breakfast was excellent, we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt (cereals were also on offer) then had a full English which was cooked to perfection using good quality ingredients. ”

”Another fabulous visit and wonderful stay. I would recommend a little light on the balcony table for late drinks. A few less spiders would have been better as well 😂. There was a table below very close to the balcony with people attending a wedding party including excited children. This did make the room less relaxing than hoped for. Apart from that the Abbey bells are lovely to wake up to, and the staff were very friendly as always.”
”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...
