”I stay in around 100 places each year for work and this was bad.
Poor quality fittings and fixtures vey well used. No soap, shower door didn’t close, toilet on some kind of strange plinth. Laminate falling to bits. No Freeview or terrestrial tv, streaming only but WiFi is so bad it doesn’t work at peak times 2 mattresses on bed bottom one very grubby
I think it’s a converted garage.
May suit someone with low standards I ended up leaving after 2 nights stayed last night elsewhere ”
”Saavuimme autolla pimeällä. HOtellin löytäminen oli vaikeaa ilman tarkkaa osoitetta. Navigaattori ei tunnistanut kohdetta. Myöskään alueen paikalliset asukkaat eivät tunnistaneet kohdetta. Kyseessä on moottoritien varressa olevan pysähdyspaikan majoituspaikka, sisäänajo ainoastaan toisen suunnan rampista. Kävelymatkan sisältä löytyi useita ruokapaikkoja. Pysäköinti sisältyi huonehintaan. Itse hotelli oli ok.”

”Property was perfect for us. We needed somewhere close to the hospital for an early morning op and it was perfect. Saved a taxi fare by being able to walk. Recommended. ”
”When we arrived, he wasn't sure if I had a booking. Waiting outside the property in the pouring rain for 40mins before I got in. When I called they didn't pick up and there was no in the property to assist. The password gave was the wrong one initially and then messaged the right one after waiting for over 40mins. The toilet seat is right by a radiator and could sit properly as the heater continuesly touch you and heat burns. When we entered we had to clean the toilets as they were let dirty....
”Another fabulous visit and wonderful stay. I would recommend a little light on the balcony table for late drinks. A few less spiders would have been better as well 😂. There was a table below very close to the balcony with people attending a wedding party including excited children. This did make the room less relaxing than hoped for. Apart from that the Abbey bells are lovely to wake up to, and the staff were very friendly as always.”

”First and foremost are the staff who were so helpful & friendly nothing was too much trouble! Really good night's sleep in excellent beds. We stayed for a few days (unusual as most were cruise 1 night stays) as a base for day trips and enjoyed a nightcap in the little garden after a long day. Would recommend as a base for trips to New Forest, Stonehenge or cruise stay & park.”
”Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not...
