Pitkä viikonloppu New Yorkissa
Hyvällä ja keskeisellä paikalla, rauhallinen hotelli. Siistit, toimivat tilat. Aulassa pinei kahvila jossa hyvät kahvit sekä pientä syötävää, Samalla kadulla korealaisia ravintoloita ja lähimaastossa monia muitakin.

Das HGU hat eine tolle Lage - ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, besonders für NY-Erstreisende. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, die Betten gemütlich, das Bad im coolen Stil. Die Lobby und die Flure haben gemäß der Erbauung von 1905 einen alten Charme mit Muff-Geruch. Das Noa Café in der Lobby ist top, ebenso wie die kleine Roof Top Bar. Das Personal an der Anmeldung: von super nett bis schlecht gelaunt - am Ende sind es auch nur Menschen. Wir hatten auf Vorab-Anfrage per Mail ein schönes Zimmer mit kleinem Ausblick bekommen. Das war sehr nett.

My experience at HGU was overall a great experience. The room was very nice and clean, we had front facing window view and the size of the room was okay. The lobby area was comfortable and conveniently contained a cafe.

La comida del restaurante es buena, aunque hay muy poca variedad. El servicio es muy amable de parte de todo el personal: recepción, cafetería, bar y restaurante. Las instalaciones son lindas, antiguas, pero en muy buen estado. Las áreas comunes son chiquitas, pero con estilo bonito, cómodo y acogedor. La cama está super rica, la regadera bien, el agua caliente sale rápido. Estuvo cómodo.

This was a very affordable hotel option for the quality and location. We were able to park on the street outside of the hotel for free on Saturday and Sunday. HGU is close to the Empire State Building, 5th Ave, and lots of shops and restaurants. The HGU staff was extremely nice. We enjoyed the NOA cafe (great food and coffee) and guest lounge (comfy couches with books to socialize). Our room was cute and perfect. The bed was very comfortable, and the temperature settings have a lot of options. We will be coming back and recommending to our family/friends.

Room was small but king bed comfortable. Wished I could have signed into Netflix on flat screen TV. Not a lot of room to hang long coats. Was afraid I may break one of the bottles of alcohol that were on top of mini fridge in closet. Would be nice to have coffee in the room too.

Great location. However, the rooms are outdated for new technology there are hardly any outlets or charging stations to charge devices. The water pressure was not good at all. The Heat didn't work properly and the floors are hardwood in the rooms, they were not vacuumed in the 10 days stay I had there.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this one deserves it. HGU was more than what we expected! Starting off with the location so many restaurants and shopping, everything is so close. The hotel is a 10/10 super clean and aesthetically pleasing. Love the coffee/breakfast cafe that in the hotel.

This was our second stay at HGU New York (the last time was 4 years ago) and we have been super impressed both times. Lovely clean but compact rooms in a great location, at a reasonable price point for New York. We will be back!

Clean and comfortable room, bathroom was great with a large shower easy check in, good location not too far from Bryant park. Fridge in room which was handy and a walgreens not far up the road.

Great location and bed
The rooms are small but the king size bed was super comfortable. The staff provided great service, including the cafe and bar. The location is great to access midtown and multiple subway lines. Great value for money.

Great Little Luxury Boutique Hotel
Great boutique hotel. Had a hiccup at check-in, our assigned room was occupied. We were quickly reassigned to a different room and given breakfast vouchers for our inconvenience. Great room, nicely appointed although needed more places to store clothes. Bathroom was nicely renovated and very clean. Great value for the price we paid.

Aucun accueil client. Le gâteau commandé est resté trainer dans le lobby. Obligée de râler afin d’en obtenir un autre ! Et la note supplémentaire de 80€ sans prévenir. Et personne ne daigne répondre .. passez votre chemin. L’hôtel est bien mais 0 considération pour le client.

1st time stay in NYC - good hotel
We stayed for a week at HGU. Although the rooms are a bit tired and can be noisy from the lift we found the beds and service very conformable. The team were great in helping out with options and ideas. I think the storage space for a week is a bit cramped but again we managed. the hotel facilities are ok. Overall it is a decent hotel in a very central location for exploring this wonderful city. I would use it again as the location and as we know what to expect can gauge the cost effectiveness. Nothing fancy but more than adequate. Didn't get to check out the roof top bar (missing a trick there) but also didn't eat in the hotel as there is so much so close.
