I am livid about our recent stay and the experience had.
I wish to inform you of SEVERAL unprofessional, unsanitary, and disturbing events that occurred at the Skyline Hotel and Waterpark in Niagara Falls, Ontario during our stay from Saturday, July 19, 2025 to Sunday, July 20, 2025. I would like to preface the following comments by stating that my family and I have stayed at many different waterpark properties but have never experienced the type of experience we did yesterday and today.
We checked in yesterday to celebrate my son’s 2nd birthday (not that anyone had asked us). We were given Room 1219. Upon entering the room and trying to turn on the television, it did not work. We called down for maintenance. When the man came up, he advised us simply that it was not plugged in correctly, and sometimes the people cleaning the rooms are in a rush and do not clean well and leave the cords of the television unplugged. I thought that was completely unprofessional of him to say. However, it did prove correct. Since we had just arrived, we hadn’t really had a chance to look around. We later discovered a left behind Tim Hortons cup in the room, some disgusting stain on the pillow, and when my son was scribbling on the notepad, a message from other former guest. This is not only disgusting, but completely unsanitary. For $543.34, one does not expect to stay in what appears to be a dirty motel room.
