”Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.”

”The communication was terrible, we only got the code for the apartment access after we called the owner a few times. Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one. ”Nice simple room. Nice pub and staff. Was like a suana to sleep in, but it was during a heatwave. All very easy.”

”Room was ok, outdated but clean otherwise. The bathroom floor tiles and caulking were stained and felt dirty. Shower pressure was amazing, they had dove shampoo, conditioner and soap which was a nice surprise. Breakfast had warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hash brown, beans), coffee, juices, cereals and muffins, croissants and pancakes. I wouldn't stay here longer since the amenities were quite poor but for one night stay (passing through Swindon) this was totally fine and staff that we encountered...

”Most of the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fine and staff good. Unfortunately restaurant closes a little early and they stop taking orders 15 mins prior. We arrived at the restaurant 25 mins prior to closing and was behind another guest. The manager told us to wait as he would be right back but only came back 10 mins later to tell us that we would need to go eat elsewhere as the restaurant was closing. ”I have stayed in many hotels but this was one of the best. The staff were very friendly and accommodating the hotel rooms here large and nicely decorated. The gardens provided a perfect setting for a late evening drink and winding down after a busy day. Yes there are probably, better hotels out there but for our stay this was a 5 Star event.”

”Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...
