”We had a lovely double room with a sofa bed for our boys. The room was spacious with a lovely ensuite. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. A nice climbing frame/ slide in the garden. Friendly staff.”

The only downside I found was having to hand the key in every time you went out, it was a bit of a pain having to queue to get the key when staff checking people in

”So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical.

”We have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if you’re off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staff”

”Stayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard.
