”Amazing location right across the street from the 1st Base foul pole. We watched the visiting team load up their bus from our front stoop. Clean and comfortable and well laid out. Only downside is NOISE - after the game, for hours, as the dumpsters are loaded from the Stadium. and AGAIN - early in the morning - as the dumpsters in the laneway right beside the bedroom windows get tipped over. Bring really good ear plugs...”

”My wife and I stayed here for a concert at Wrigley Field. It's a 20 minute walk to Wrigley. The neighborhood is safe to walk around in. The hosts communicated very well with us. 15-20 minute drive to downtown Chicago. Overall a great stay! Will stay again if ever if the area. ”

”We had a great experience with friends. The apartment was clean and spacious, and there was everything we needed. The location was good for us, a short distance to the city and United Center. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. Ali was a great host, helpful, hospitable and communication was easy with him. He responded quickly and always helped when needed. Overall, the apartment felt like home and I hope to come back. I really recommend staying here if you want a five star experience....

Absolutely brilliant

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
