”Nice one! Great room with a king size bed, spotless clean, spacious and cosy. The only minus was the extremely strong smell of washing detergent in the bed linen - this hotel is not suitable for allergic people!! Our clothes smelled like the washing detergent for days later... Otherwise nothing to complain about, staff was great, friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the overall atmosphere in the hotel was good. We could stay again in this hotel.”

”The hotel wad in a good location within 10 mins walk of the centre of Rye. Free parking was a real benefit. Hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and spacious with a nice view looking out over the river. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay at the Haven hotel and would thoroughly recommend. ”

”Brilliant stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful Christmas decorations, felt very festive. The room was comfortable with lots of personal touches. Very old building so a few squeaky floorboards to be expected. Great gluten free options. We will be back. Merry Christmas.”

”We were a party of three adults staying two nights so that we had an easy journey over the weekend to get to the Steam Rally at nearby Woodchurch. Excellent base as views from the room were great, the balcony just right to sit and watch the sunset, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative comment being the restaurant tables, which had a very sticky feel to them. The waitresses wiped them down thoroughly but it seems this affected the surface of the tables! However the food was excellent...
