”A lovely and very affordable stay in a nice quiet room! Every inch of the room was pristinely clean and tidy. The reception staff member was very helpful, professional and efficient. The only improvements would be as follows: - A fridge in the room would have been a helpful amenity - The pillows were extremely chunky so maybe an option of a flatter size? - The bins in the car park were overflowing with rubbish - The curtains need to be longer as they let in light all the way along the...

”Nice quirky hotel, stylishly done out. Great for a couples night away. The simple check in process and key lock is really cool and makes it simple. Can’t fault the place. Only suggested improvements are 1. Add a coffee machine to rooms. Instant granules don’t match the styling. 2. Couple of bottles of water in fridge would be a nice touch”

”It was a good stay with clean and comfortable rooms during our stay. It close by to the countryside which is relaxing and quiet. The breakfast was great and in the pub associated with the hotel.”

I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice.”

”Very relaxing break at this lovely hotel&spa.The pool and spa facilities are 5 star -highly recommend.Showers very clean and pool and jacuzzi really good. Things which were oddly missing:safes or mini fridges in the room.Was inconvenient carrying purses around Breakfast though lovely could do with more vegetarian options and fruit/yoghurts etc Staff were lovely from Alison at reception to the staff at the Spa.I would give it a 5 star ”

”Stayed there for a wedding and the pumps were broke so flat drinks were served all day/night, nothing was done about it and food at the wedding was served without notification so we had none.”

”Hotel staff is always welcoming and helpful and beds are super comfy. Hotel is located in a very convenient area when visiting areas around Wirral and a nice stop when travelling further south and free parking on site. ”

”Room not cleaned once during my stay, it says when booking “on site restaurant “ yet they don’t serve food. Room too small, and tv couldn’t access freeview as the wifi kept buffering. Won’t book there again ”

”My 3rd visit. Great location for Lymm and surroundings. The only thing that let it down this time was the breakfast. When I first visited I was served a great full English meal, plus tea and toast. Now you are expected to make tea using an urn and to make toast in a toaster which was irritating as other people can use it at the same time and it is difficult to make toast to your own liking. Breakfast staff seemed embarrassed to have to explain the routine to each table. I mentioned it at...
