All the grounds and facilities are in great condition and look awesome. The staff was very friendly. Our swim-up room was excellent. The gym was one of the biggest I have seen in resorts. And the food in restaurants was delicious and the servings were generous. Where the hotel could do better is 1) music - the same love song list of about 20 love songs (a cd maybe) was on repeat and played by the pool and in restaurants throughout our six night stay. Only gym and bar had different soundtracks. They should definitely have some ambient/lounge music by the pools and the lobby. 2) We were requested to top up our deposit 3 times during the stay. Maybe I’m naiive but I would assume the risk of a customer not being able to pay the bill at check-out at a five star resort to be very low. 3) The price of an inflated extra bed for our five-year-old was something like 90 USD per night, far more than in any other resort we have stayed at. Overall. a very nice palace-like resort full of marble and glass.

Nice and clean but impersonal
The hotelarea is huge and especially the poolarea and the gym are brilliant. There is also nice classes with good instructors for gym, aqua aerobic etc. So if you also like to be active during your holiday this is the place. Restaurants in the hotel are overpriced and impersonal. Try local restaurants right outside the resort, for example Tapa Bistro. Even Bumbu Bali restaurant is worth a visit. The breakfast assorment is good but sometimes the breakfastroom can be overcrowded and noicy.

ホテルの設計は全体的に自然にマッチしていて、広々と、気を遣わずにリラックスできるパプリックスペースも多く、レストランも美味しかったです。特にソレイユ、室内外とも良かった！ また、スタッフたちの接客は素晴らしかったです。

Fantastic resort, with a little but...
Mulia Resort is an amazing experience in most aspects! There are still some parts of the soft product that can be improved. Almost all staff wearing facemasks at this point feels very cold and gives me a constant reminder of the sad past we had. Service is correct, but lacks warmth, compared to most other hotels in Bali, ive visited during my 30 days here. Buffet at The Cafe is magical, so i didnt have time to check the other restaurant in the resort. As a returning guest at the hotel and gold member at Hotels.com i was hoping for a room with a view, but sadly the backside isnt much to brag about. But all in all, i didnt pay for extra view, but still was hoping for a nice view. Room itself was excellent and the bed could fit a queen, im sure.

Our stay at the Mulia Villas was relaxing and enjoyable. The Villa exceeded expectations & was a comfortable & relaxing space to spend time in. The resort offered many dining, drinking, swimming & relaxing spaces to enjoy. The treatments at the spa were wonderful. The staff in all areas were welcoming, polite, friendly and very accommodating. Especially enjoyed the Living Room. This was a truly relaxing holiday with no real need to leave the resort. Looking forward to returning there again.

Room was average For the money we paid we would have expected a pod coffee machine rather than a plastic white kettle Toiletries were of poor quality, the shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel like straw No bathrobes in rooms The pools were very warm , felt like spas and weren’t a comfortable temperature to cool down Otherwise mulia was very well kept And a lovely resort

I first stayed at the Mulia ten years ago and it was outstanding then. Fast forward 10 years and it is still magnificent the best hotel in Bali. However I do believe that a few mini things need to be addressed. Firstly We we’re celebrating our engagement in Soleil restaurant, food was great but service not so good. We hadn’t finished our entree when out came the main meal. I said we need 15 minutes and they gave us 3 minutes. The second was we walked into the bottom area of the hotel that looks over the beach. When I asked a waitress can we have a table for a afternoon drink I was informed that we are not allowed in that area of the hotel and we must leave now. It wasn’t a nice start on our first day at the Mulia. The rest of the stay outstanding.

I’ve been to a few resorts around the world, but this one is by far the best. Clean, quiet, approachable and welcoming staff, and beautiful beaches. Excellent choice of food around the clock.

Has to work on better service during breakfast especially when the hotel has high occupancy as people waited in queues in the mornings just for a table and their restaurant manager was very rude when we raised this to him, telling us that we should come at opening time so as to get a breakfast table if we don’t want to wait, rather then being courteous and trying to figure out a ln easier process to avoid people waiting, he opted to give his personal suggestion.

We came to the Mulia for our honeymoon. The hotel is nice however far too big and lacks a bit of atmosphere or finesse. Wouldn’t recommend for couple on their honeymoon. Good options for food in evenings though
