”Great location, 5 minutes from esplanade and lagoon pool and dozens of resturants. Spacious modern room. Bit hi tech - took me20 minutes to find the safe and several hours to work out howto turn off the light to the tea/ fridge area! The on site food was a bit basic, I arrived keen for lunch and menue was limited and expensive but all in all a great stay.”

”Erinomaisella paikalla sijaitseva hotelli, nightmarket 50m päässä. Uima-allas alue on harmillisesti talviaikana katoksen alla
mutta kesä kuumalla suoja on varmasti tarpeen. Hotelli oli hyvinpidetty ja siisti. Aamiainen oli kattava ja palvelu aamiaisella loistava!
Ekologisuudesta; pyyhkeet vaihdettiin joka päivä, kuten aina hyvissä hotelleissa mutta käytetyt vietiin myös pois vaikka ne olisivatkin olleet naulassa.

”Very nice hotel close to Cairns cener and airport. Nice and clean rooms with view. Big pool but not enough sun beds. All of them were reserved with towels already by 8 am! No shower at the pool. ”

”Very close to reef terminal for tours. I loved the fact that towels were available as well as a free laundry facility. Staff is often not at the desk but they are often watching CCTV that covers the front desk and come when needed. It is very clean, towels are nice, location is close to many restaurants. They are well organized and check in went well. The rooms are serviced every other day routinely. They did forget my bath towels after service but this was minor in my opinion as you can get...

”I love the location, right on the Esplanade and a short walk to the CBD with numerous dining options. The view over the harbour is amazing and there is plenty of on site parking. The rooms are spacious with small balconies ”

”This is not 5 stars how it is usually understood. Overall stay was okay. Bed is uncomfortable and air conditioning was not working well so bit too hot to sleep. Roomservice (cleaning) came only twice during our stay (6 days). Poolservice was poor. Sparkling wine ordered was with no bubbles and warm. Also fries were old and dried. Nobody asked how was our stay when checked out so this is not 5 stars at all but area was nice and convinient for our stay. ”
”The retro room was so beautiful, especially as we had an ocean view and could have the windows open to hear the ocean and feel the breeze. We were also treated to the acoustic music rambling up the stairwell into our room from the restaurant below. All in all a romantic stay with wonderful staff, food and a very comfortable bed”

- Wonderful staff, always extremely pleasant and helpful.
- Great location, close the markets, shops, restaurants, cafés, esplanade and lagoon.,
- Free safe parking
- Very roomy, well equipped and quiet apartment. You can even find a washing machine in the room.
- Lovely pool area with barbeque facility.
Next visit in Cairns I will definitely stay at Il Palazzo, it is just perfect”

”Clean, spacious & well appointed balcony room overlooking waterfront. Comfy bed, nice bed linen & towels but shower tap over bath was difficult to operate. Garden bed on balcony was neglected and in need of a gardener & painter.
Plent of sun lounges but not terribly comfortable. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Gin Social was pleasant to pass an hour or two and desk staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend a few days here.”

”It’s in a great location right in the heart of the city entertainment area. The room was absolutely stunning and the staff were great. The only slight negative is that we were on level 4 and the rooftop bar was quite loud until after 10pm and then the set up for breakfast (assumption) started about 5.30am.”

”Amazing little family owned hotel, like a little hidden paradise! Also the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed on, our room was so clean when we arrived that you could have eaten off the floor. Everything was spotless and beautiful.
The hotel garden and pool are a little small, but so beautiful and relaxing! The plants make the area feel hidden from rest of the world.
All the staff was really nice, but the star was the family's cat who you could often find resting in the lobby. I love him...
