Huvilat – Ojai

”Everything is first class. Every detail of the property is superior. We ate at the Oak Restaurant three nights. The food is very good. However the time between courses is not good. Very slow. The waitstaff is good; it's the kitchen that can't keep up. This was on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 6:30 P.M. The restaurant was about three quarters full so it should have had better timing. We decided against dessert all three nights because of the delays.”

”Lovely and quiet neighborhood, wish we brought bikes to ride around! We also really appreciated how comfortable the bed and pillows were. The room and bathroom were also extremely spacious. Would love to stay here again : )”

”When we arrived, we were surprised at the condition of the Vrbo. There were leaves all around the outside and the patio was dirty. Inside it was bare bones. There were five glasses that were plastic and old. It was not up to the price I paid. I was surprised and we left early. No pride in ownership. Host was great. And it was clean inside.”

”Every activity was within walking distance of the property. The nice restaurant that was recommended to us was excellent & walking distance & could drive to it as well. The recommended hiking trail was easy & had such beautiful views along the route.”

”Great location with plenty to do nearby. Papa Lennon’s is within walking distance and opens at 11:00 AM. Downtown Ojai is only about a 6-minute drive away. The crystal bowl Lion’s Gate event at MOVE Sanctuary was wonderful. Home Kitchen is just 5 minutes away by car and is a great breakfast spot, while Mountain Meditation is about 19 minutes away. The RV also offers plenty of privacy and enough space to relax—or even dance! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.”

”The Winnebago rental was a first for me. It was different but fun. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very quiet. The Winnebago is parked in front of the house, about 30 feet from the road. Despite that the place was quiet with no noise from the street. I’d bring some silverware if you were going to do any major cooking. The refrigerator and freezer were good size. I used the backyard pool briefly and that was nice. The property has 3 rentals on it as well as the host and...

”We enjoyed our stay at Meiner’s Daughter. Hot tub and hammock were both great places to relax and watch the “pink moment” ojai sunset and the moon… or marvel at the beautiful oak trees that nestle the patio space. So peaceful.”

”Room was clean, bed was comfy, but a little stiff (side sleeper), sheets not cotton, room smelled a little of chemical cleaners, staff very helpful. On the highway, so road noise. I drowned it out with the AC and bathroom fan.”
