”Hotel was close to the ferry port which was ideal as we were able to walk with our luggage. We only stayed for one night, so unable to give a full review of the amenities. The room we stayed in was old and some things were worn down, but it was clean. ”Sir Angel’s Guesthouse started as a longtime Belizean family home, and it is even named after the patriarch, Angel. Communication while booking was timely and accurate. Upon arrival, my booked ride from the airport was prompt, and the driver gave me a local tour en route to the Guesthouse! I was warmly greeted at the guesthouse by the owner, and even introduced to a family member! At the Guesthouse, I enjoyed being “in Belize”—- I was at a small, family-owned lodging for my first two days...

”The hotel s nice, but the room was small with no windows, none. Was worried about safety in case of a fire. They have the best food, but I hate the extra fee on the bill even when take out. As a costumer I felt forced to leave a tip in that fee. I always leave tips. If you don't know better, you will double up on tips. The managers Ken and Joanna are the best. They were truly helpful from the beginning to the end. On a side note... They have the best cucumber juice.”

”If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. ”
