”My family and I were in northern MI to leaf peep and we were very pleased with the location of the vrbo. The view of Lake MI is also superb!The host is also very interactive, checking in multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. ”

”Melissa was an excellent communicator and hostess. The home was perfect for our girls wine weekend. Very clean and everything we needed was available. Towels, bedding, kitchen supplies, laundry, dishwasher , coffee maker, etc. and a great location as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience! ”

”We had a fantastic time at this cottage!! Love how peaceful and secluded it is. After a day at the beach we came back to the cottage and put some Fleetwood Mac on the record player ( all provided!). Great memories for sure! This area of Michigan is just lovely. Can't wait for next summer! Thank You, Cottage in the woods!”

”Beautiful inside and out”

”It was a very nice property right across from the lake, but is definitely in need of a facelift. The showers fixtures are in bad shape, but the tub was lovely. Needs fresh decor and bedding. The pillows were clearly old and stained. The owner lives in a converted garage right across from you, and will show up at any time. Which is fine, but he did have plumbers show up and park right behind my car which i thought was rude to the guest. Luckily they didnt stay long. Pictures are deceiving,...

”Perfect for our group of 4. Quiet surroundings, impeccable inside, befs are comfy and water pressure good! Host was great in communicating quickly with the few questions I had. Close to dtown Surtons Bay but in the solitude of the woods.”
