Something on our bucket list so we made the 2 night stay to overlook the animals. While it was cool, after about ten minutes, it lost our interest. We paid extra to be in a one bedroom so lots of room and large balcony, and it had both, but a lot of money spent for extra room we didnt use or need. A little dated too, especially the bathroom for that kind of money. Pool super crowded and on the small side. On the positives, the bus to the parks worked great, the BOMA buffet was terrific, loved the carrot ginger soup. The market had plenty of fresh and surprisingly priced appropriate food; we picked up bagels and cream cheese that fed us for both mornings. And the interior atmosphere of the lodge was beautiful. But 2 nights max here, you would be bored more than that, and go for the least expensive room possible. The view from the room isn't even necessary because viewing areas on every floor. But it was cool to look out at midnight and see Zebras walking by...not a site we will soon forget...so worth the visit, once.
