”This hotel is a unique boutique hotel with excellent service! Even it is outside from the city center, the location is good. There is a train going to city center and the station is quite near. The only small issue was that we had on our visit a spy in the closed. Something which of course should not happen in this kind of hotel, but the hotel took care of it immediately.”

”Pool is excellent for actual swimming. Breakfast included a full range of options. Room was reasonably spacious with comfy beds. Only niggle was the shower was a bit weak, but I used the one at the pool both days anyway”

”The fact that you can walk to the OVO Hydro, one of UKs most prominent arenas makes the Crowne Plaza a must stay. We really enjoyed the front desk and pub staff for “Banter” and sight seeing ideas, places to go and shop. Glasgow is the right size city, folks overwhelming nice and approachable. ”

”My wife and I spent one night at the hotel as we were attending a show at the nearby Armadillo (a short 5 minutes walk away). The location is excellent for attending any show at the Armadillo and OVO Hydro. The room was spotless and a good size and contained an iron and ironing board along with the usual hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. The bar stocks a good range of beers and spirits and although the prices were quite expensive the convenience of using it after a show outweighed...

”Lovely hotel and very comfortable. Food wasn’t great but apparently there was a new chef who was a bit overwhelmed when we chose to eat there. It’s convenient to walk into the city centre but parking is not good. The hotel only has 5 spaces (2 are disabled) so expect to pay to park and it is shockingly expensive outside the hotel. There is a Q park about 10 mins walk though.”

Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja sijainti on hyvä. On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house.
