âWe booked this hotel for a couple of nights before we moved onto our main hotel near the beaches of Barcelona. The hotel is located in a town called Santa Coloma about 10 kilometres (about 30min. metro ride) from Barcelona downtown. The area itself is quite nice with many small cafes and shops! âNice three-day stay in Barceloa. The hotel was nice and the staff friendly, the breakfast was good an the views on the Level restaurant were fantastic. Staying at the top floors (Level rooms) gives access to the Level lounge on the 25th floor with drinks and snacks, which is worthwhile.
The room was silent (except the door slamming automatically). The only thing we missed in the room was an armchair or two; the present design was quite modern and sripped.

We payed with a Debit card for the whole stay as soon as we arrived. We made the hotel sure that we want the Debit card to be used as a payment. Money has been charged from our bank account the day we checked in. As we checked-out, they charged the stay AGAIN from the credit card used as a deposit without our permission and without telling us even though we already paid when we arrived. So now we have paid for our stay for 2 times, and not gotten our deposit back. They told they have âreleasedâ the Debit card payment which is ridiculous as that is the card that was supposed to be the payment in the first place. The hotel charged wrong card even when we told not to. Not even an apology. Takes also way too long to respond. Had to beg for HOURS to an answer. "
