During your stay, you may experience a vast variety of wildlife roaming the property, it is safe to say that you will not be threaten or harm in any way. The house is located in the middle of the Sonoran Desert, and you most likely to see (up close) the following furry/feathery friends:

- Gamble Quail
- Doves
- Elf Owls
- Eagles
- Road runners
- Lizards
- Rabbits /Hares
- Praire dogs
- Ground squirrels
- Javelinas
- Coyotes
- Kangaroo rats
- Rattle snakes

** Kangaroo rats are often kept away from humans, so you won't see them around the property.

** Rattle snakes are also rare, these critters hibernate in winter, and keep away vibrations (human movement) when do roam around. We have not had any snake sites around the house, but if you do, please do leave them alone and do not engage. Let me know and I will have someone help with our critter friend.

Our home is pesticide treated by an amazing pesticide company (Nice Pest Company), and well cleaned/maintained. You should not have any issues with any critters or wildlife. I encourage you to experience and enjoy ALL that the desert has to offer; within a safe distance of course.

Getting to Your Desert Retreat

Our home is easily accessible from Phoenix and surrounding areas, making your journey smooth and stress-free.

Property Access & Check-in
- Self Check-In: Your personalized keypad code will be sent to you before arrival, so you can check in anytime after 4:00 PM.
- Private Driveway Parking: Plenty of space for multiple vehicles, including RVs or trailers if needed.
- Easy Navigation: The property is located on a quiet road with clear signage. GPS will bring you directly to the house.

** Pro Tip: Arriving at night? Even though the house has a well lit front and back yard, Bring a flashlight or use your phone's light for easy keypad access. The desert sky is breathtaking, but it gets dark quickly!

If you ever need any assistance you may contact your host via messaging, as we will respond within minutes of your message. If there is an immediate emergency, we have our neighbors that may be able to help if needed. Please know that minor attention (body scrapes, or similar level of attention) may use the First Aid Kit found at the laundry room, on the cabinets above the washer and dryer.

We will always respond to your messages, and if needed, will arrive onsite to assist with whatever need you may have.

-We do ask that guests take care of the home as if it were their own. It is our goal to provide each guest with a great space to unwind and relax during their time here!
