”We truly enjoyed Whirlwind Ranch. The property is more than we expected. It is absolutely beautiful and serene. Colleen was so friendly and kind. Their dog Jax is so cute and sweet. The fresh eggs and pastries were a pleasant surprise. It is a wonderful experience to be around beautiful horses and cool donkeys!”

”We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were.”

”We visited with old family, and met new family in this quiet, beautiful location. The house had more than enough room for all of us. The kitchen was plenty big enough to cook for everyone, and there was even extra room in the fridge in the garage. We did have one minor issue with a water leak, but it was quickly addressed by the hosts who were incredibly responsive to all communication. I would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a beautiful location in the Auburn area.”

During the afternoon we escaped the heat by swimming in the American River, which is less than 15 minutes away. Thank you so much Sandy and Tom for your gracious hospitality! We look forward to returning to your beautiful oasis.”
