”The property I think is as described and the location by the causeway is pretty fantastic, that is the big draw. Being able to walk/ride out to the causeway is excellent. Little things though marred the experience for me. Tiny coffee machine that is a little broken (top falls off, often into cup as you pour) - very cheap and can only make 2 cups. No coffee filters provided. Toaster is tiny, cheap and a bit hard to use. There is no established path so you are just trotting about 50 yards across...

As others have mentioned, there are quite a few steep stairs down to the dock/water, so if you’ve got small kids/anyone with limited mobility, just be aware of that going in. ”We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves despite bad weather all week. The property is as described. The view was lovely and we appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. The only potential issue is that the stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms are very steep, as others have noted, and our dog wasn’t able to climb them. Other than that, the place was very comfortable and it was great to get away.”

”Enjoyed our stay at this wonderful area. The communication with David was timely and helpful. He provides guests with a great list of things about his lake home and community establishments. We checked out five and each spot, the staff were so welcoming. Sunsets are spectacular. The fire pit was nice although Mother Nature did not totally cooperate.
