”Fantastic staff, superb location and well equipped, if surprisingly dated rooms (by Marriott standards). Excellent, varied breakfast and good facilities. Marked down because the air conditioning in the rooms was nowhere near cool enough during a heatwave and because the food served for lunch/dinner was truly awful, embarrassingly so. I tried two separate dishes, the first was completely inedible and the second was, at best, cheap pub fare for an unjustifiable premium.”

”The exterior of the building is wonderful along with the grounds. The interior however is extremely run down and our first room We were given smelt damp and had to be moved to a better room but still then extremely basic and cleaning standard not great. Not helped also by the fact they only offer housekeeping every 3 days. Hotel with huge potential but not being looked after and requires urgent attention would not recommend anyone to stay there”
