”We loved Barb’s place so much. Very clean and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I to visit Carmel and surrounding areas. Comfy bed and nice amenities. All of Barb’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. Favorite being Dametra Cafe and least being Misson Ranch. Cooler weather than I expected in June, and always windy so needed jackets daily. ”Absolutely perfect accommodations and location. I felt right at home and very safe. Such a quiet street but close to so many amenities. Perfect location for wonderful walks and hikes and so easy to get to place in S.F. easily. The owners were so gracious and friendly, I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!”

My daughter and I stayed for two nights to attend a wedding and shared the very comfortable full-size bed. The sheets, pillows, and towels were high quality and spotless. The full-size kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, with water, sodas, and fruit provided, along with ample kitchen and bath towels. The body wash was also high quality. The neighborhood is perfect for exploring in all directions—Richmond with all its great restaurants, Golden Gate Park and the de Young museum, the Presidio etc. Nearby Geary street gives you a. Straight shot downtown on the bus. Howard was very helpful and communicative and we particularly appreciated his letting us leave our luggage for a late pick up on our last day.
