”The staff was above and beyond professional and friendly. The restaurant was exceptional. I enjoyed a wonderful meal at the bar. I thought I lost a ring and they responded immediately to look for it and called me back even when they did not find it. Instead of saying we will call you if we find it. I later found it in my suitcase. ”

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
