The Space:

Seabird House is a two-bedroom, three-bed property sleeping up to four guests, with one bathroom including a bathtub.



Families have found the space a good fit: there is plenty of room for four, the kitchen handles proper home cooking, and the garden gives everyone somewhere to spill out into. Board games are on hand for evenings in, and the indoor fireplace keeps things warm when the weather turns.



The kitchen is well equipped with oven, dishwasher, freezer, cookware, baking sheet, kettle and coffee maker. A dining table provides a proper space to eat together.



Both bedrooms have clothing storage, hangers, bed linens, and extra pillows and blankets. Hair dryer and iron are provided. One previous guest noted the beds felt on the budget side; we have flagged this with the owner for attention.



For families planning a longer visit: long-term stays are welcome, coin laundry is available on site, and the host is consistently praised for being quick to respond and easy to work with.



Parking is free on the street outside. On match days at Portsmouth City Football Stadium — roughly a two-minute walk — street parking and ambient noise can increase.

Free on-street parking sits directly outside the property. Luggage drop-off can be arranged ahead of your check-in time if needed. Coin laundry is available on site for longer stays.

Southsea is Portsmouth's seaside neighbourhood, with an independent food and drink scene, seafront walks and green open space. The nearest beach is around 12 minutes by car. Gunwharf Quays, with its shops, restaurants and the Spinnaker Tower, is approximately 10 minutes away by car. Portsmouth City Football Stadium is a two-minute walk — worth knowing if you are visiting on a match day, as the area gets busier. Local bus routes connect the neighbourhood to Portsmouth city centre and the ferry terminals.



Getting Around:

A car is the most convenient option given the free on-street parking. Fratton railway station provides direct and connecting services across the south coast. Local buses serve Southsea, the city centre and ferry terminal for those travelling without a vehicle.
