”A great location for visiting the coast which was quiet considering how close it was to a main road. A lovely clean room with all necessary features. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again.”

”While the Tiger Inn pub is nicely located by the village inn and the staff were very helpful, the room was over priced for what it was - a nice room in a pub. To describe it as 'luxury' is somewhat misleading in my view. The food was good but nothing special, so again, certainly didnt justify the 'luxury' reference”

”Huone oli pieni eikä mitään jäähdytystä. Pyynnöstä saimme tuulettimen. Aamiaisella palvelu oli ontuvaa. Välillä kysyttiin heti haluammeko teetä vai kahvia ja mitä mahdollisesti haluamme "hot menusta". Välillä saimme odotella pitkään ennen tuota kysymystä pöytään ohjaamisen jälkeen. Henkilökuntaa oli paljon, mutta aikaa oli seisoskella ja katsella, mutta 3 päivää viidestä palvelu oli todella hidasta.”

”Well, this is England and many things differs from Nordic style so we were very satisfied and understand and accept differencies. Corridors and public areas are very stylish but also little bit old fashioned..full carpets etc. and f.ex. why to have hot and cold water valves separated?.. Nice hotel anyway, nice location!”

”There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. Also the bathroom was...

”Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”

”Entrance hall was welcoming but stair carpet to upper floors needs cleaning. Room was large and bright. Voile curtain had a large rip in it, door was difficult to lock with the key when leaving the room for the day. A comfortable chair instead of the chaise lounge would have been more comfortable. Shower was large and worked well, care needed on wet floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful.”
