”We had a great family vacation overall, especially because of how much there was for the kids to do.
The pools were amazing! Our kids absolutely loved the lazy river and all the extra water features. We also used the Kids Club one day, and they had a fantastic time. It's definitely geared more toward younger children, which worked well for us.
Our room was excellent. We stayed in a long room with a partial ocean view, and it was spacious enough for our family. The kids shared the pull-out...

”On June 18, at around 3:00 PM, we returned to the hotel and were feeling hungry. We ordered a sandwich and a burrito from the lobby café and asked for them to be heated.

”We have stayed here 6 times and have always loved the resort. This latest stay just a week ago in mid June was not as good as it used to be. It seems that due to reduced occupancy our favorite restaurant which is Frank & Lola’s did away our favorite item which we used to order every time we went there. We loved the Osso Bucco, which is a veal shank, but possibly because of cost they did away it. I feel like eliminating popular items could potentially be a small cause of tourists staying there....

The only disappointing experience were the extremely limited amount is staff to handle the Kids Club, if the kids were outside for activities, nobody stay at the club to receive any other child! ”From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, the Mamma Loo staff was in constant communication with us. They let me know about prices outside the stay rates beforehand, they helped me arrange a welcome bouquet for my girlfriend, arranged for us to have a grill dinner and took breakfast all the way to our kuchil ( that’s how you say space/home in mayan).
