”With a daughter attending William & Mary, we have a lot of opportunity to travel to Williamsburg, so for our last visit we decided to stay at the Rochambeau, having heard very good things about this retro-styled motel. We were glad that we did! The property is immaculate, in fact I don't remember every including the phrase "immaculate parking lot" in a review. Ever. But that's the case here. From the driveway to the parking lot to the grounds, everything was, well, "immaculate." That certainly...

”Front staff were very helpful. Room was clean and close to attractions.”

”Nathan was amazing her really addressed our needs.”

”The place was moldy, had holes in the wall, and there were bugs in the room. The showers had stains and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months.”

”Checked into my room, couch had huge stains all over it, very bad odor in room and had roach stick traps spread across the room”

”Convenient parking. Helpful staff. Lobby smelled like smoke and was unpleasant. Hallway on 2nd floor also smelled musty and smoky. Our 2nd floor room had sticky tile floors and carpet which was stained and not vacuumed. There was no breakfast available as had been noted on website (staff said that ended around Covid time). The toilet seat was broken and there were bugs in the bathroom. The cookware in the kitchen was less than adequate to prepare meals, and there was no dish soap with which...

”The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.”

”My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 4 overlooking the marina. We also enjoyed eating in the restaurant that evening. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the quiet peaceful evening. The meal was excellent and the view of the water made it nice. Our food came out hot and delicious. My only comment would be that the hushpuppies were either undercooked, too dry and not really edible. We asked the waitress about them, and she said...

”Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! This place is just a short walk to historic Williamsburg and all the shops.”

”One word- cockroach. I went to bed around 11:00PM, and I looked up at the ceiling to a bug I had never seen before. I texted my daughter a pic and asked her what it was. It was a cockroach. She said VA was known to have a problem with them. I stood on the bed and banged a book against it, and it fell. I took another picture, to make sure I had identified it. I only stayed one night, and hardly slept at all. I found out that the contact info that the owner shared with me was only texting, when I...
