”This is a uniquely beautiful hotel. The staff, rooms and restaurants are all fantastic. We only had one issue and that was the water never got hot in Bath or shower room, it was only tepid warm- but we put that down to age of the building and amount of rooms probably using facilities at the same time. It did not dampen our stay and as forgot to mention it to reception they didn’t have the ability to fix the problem. I would definitly recommend this hotel. ”

”The only downside to the hotel is the lack of parking. Whilst you can pre-book reserved parking at the railway station it's a 5 minute walk away, so not ideal with luggage, particularly if it's raining. However, that won't put me off staying again as everything else about it is wonderful! Our room, which was an executive king size, was lovely and big and the bed was very comfortable and much bigger than our king size bed! The room was lovely, comfortable bed and plenty of room for the 2 of us. Had a drink in the bar but didn't actually eat in the hotel as we like to go out and about ”

”This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were the kindest, most conscientious, considerate, cheerful people we’ve ever seen in a hotel and they seemed to take great pride in their work. The breakfast was astounding both with the variety of offerings and the quality. The room was nice and had a sofa that we could both sit on whereas most king rooms only have one chair at other hotels.
