”Close to all convenient major thoroughfares to Escondido and easy to get to downtown San Diego. This is a family owned establishment and you really feel that - warm, friendly, helpful, safe. This is also wirhin walking distance to the San Diego chapter of the Elks.”

”This is an older building that appears to have been minimally rejuvenated. The room was clean enough; the towels and washcloths were clean. When you get into the room, you see the thick layers of paint, the cracks in the floor, the things that should have been fixed but were not. The bed did not have a box spring, but it did have some kind of spring mechanism that squeaked when you moved or rolled over.”

”There was a really good variety choices for breakfast. I loved that every morning there were at least 6 choices of fruit (most places only have 1 or 2) including watermelon, pineapple, melon, grapes, and more. Great way to start the day.”

”The room smelled very strong like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room. When I turned on the AC a lot of what seemed like pet hair came out of it and filled the room. We left the door open and tried to get the hair out but the smoke smell never left. One of the new sheets had a cigarette burn in it and the front desk employee was very dry and showed no emotion to anything during our initial conversation at check in and when I went to go tell him what wangoingkn with the room.”

”We have a big family and the suite comfortably accommodated 6 of us. The breakfast was great and the kids also had fun at the pool. We would stay here again for sure.”

”Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed”

”We were placed in a room that should have been out of service for maintenance. The bathroom door was only attached by two hinges, there was hair on the bathroom wall, and a tile was missing. The TV was also not connected to the internet and could not be used. When we contacted the front desk, we were told these were known maintenance issues and that maintenance would not be available until Tuesday, even though we checked in on Sunday. We chose to stay in the room only because we were traveling...

”Breakfast was great and the A/C was sooo cold :) But never once had a hot shower and construction is terrible, even though its not their fault. ”

”1st room AC didnt work. Got put in another next to a hotel residence partying n smoking outside their room. I'm cool with a party but when you want a night to sleep, not cool. Area is sketchy as well as the environment. Definitely not family friendly.”

”Queen room was small, good for business travelers. Lumpy squishy bed. I’d come back if they upgrade their bed. Really enjoyed the lounge - quiet, not blasting Bon Jovi or Kenny G. Had what you needed. Quick breakfasts and good place to do nothing.”
