We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.

”This is really a pub with rooms. Suits us fine. Several places within 100 yards for breakfast. Lovely beers, friendly staff, welcoming to families, limited menu but v good cooking. Great room overlooking the square. Super beer garden. Recommend.”

Restaurant food is very very good and not silly prices.
Overall we loved our stay small room but short of nothing with good but small shower.

”The hotel was very beautiful old building. The apartment was spatious, bathrooms were very nice, but the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the temperature in the room was too high. Windows couldn't be kept open because of the terrible smell from the cows next to the hotel!”

The hotel manager (Caroline) and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with locals and visitors that makes for a great friendly atmosphere.
