Luksushotellit - Reading, Englanti

”The accessible twin room was perfect for travelling with my Mum who has limited mobility. It was the first (only?) room on the ground floor. It was spacious and good to have rails by the walk-in shower and toilet. Although my Mum uses a walking stick and not a wheelchair we could see it being perfect for someone who does. We liked the little table and chairs, The hotel is within a short walk from restaurants and shops. The staff on reception were friendly.”

”I booked this hotel based on the great reviews and, for the most part, they were accurate. Unfortunately, one fairly fundamental issue seriously affected my stay: the shower was stone cold. I waited patiently for the water to heat up, but eventually had to give up. I literally could not have a shower. By that point, I had wasted so much time waiting that I had to rush to make my pre-booked taxi, so I had no opportunity to raise it with reception before leaving. The room itself was basic,...

”The dinner food sucks. The spa/pool is fantastic . Location in the middle of nowhere but convenient for business travellers”

”hyvä huoneistohotelli pidempään vierailuun. Löytyi kunnon keittiö, pyykinpesukoneet jne.”

”It’s an average hotel that does the job. Having to request and wait for an iron and ironing board doesn’t feel very “4 star”. Decent location for what I needed though and usually a decent rate compared with some other hotels in Reading city centre.”

Alueella kauniita, vanhoja rakennuksia. Hotelli suositteli lähistöllä olevaa isoa pubia, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen. ”

”A charming older building with a lot of character. The personnel was very helpful, when we foreigners had a lot to ask. The rooms were clean and Wi-Fi worked fine. There were usb-sockets so we didn't have to use adapters to charge our phones. Free parking and easy to access by car, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. There was full English breakfast + continental breakfast available. I would come back, definitely.”

”Room 308 is haunted. I have stayed in this room 3 times now and have had something breath in my ear as I lay in bed wide awake, I had something invisible walk up to me quickly as I could hear the heavy footsteps and i turned around and nothing was there and I heard a short groan which was definitely from inside the room. Apart from that I had a lovely stay.”

”Nice stay and a friendly host. We liked the place.”

”If you are looking for a low-budget stay or for some other reason don´t want to spend too much money for the place you sleep in, I would recommend this hotel. Nice 10 minute walking distance to Reading city centre.”
