”Staff are vey attentive, polite and respectful. It is a very relaxing place to stay, peaceful, beautiful and clean throughout the Hall. Rooms are a very good size and very clean. We never tried the restaurant but if the standard of meals from the bar/grill, which we had, are anything to go by, I have no doubt they will also be delicious. Breakfast excellent range of choice and again delicious. We have previously had afternoon tea here and Highly recommend it and also staying here. Great stop...

”Nice overnight stay with my partner. Room spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. A little soft for my liking but I did sleep well. Was very thankful for the fan and I’m used to sleeping with one at home. Delicious food…the steak and ale pie was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast before the long drive home. Would definitely recommend the Captain cook Inn and we would be more than happy to stay again. ”

”Lovely friendly welcome and very attentive. Rooms are in the middle of being decorated however that doesn't detract from the comfort or amazing views. Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. ”
