”This is a perfect accommodation when exploring both Richmond and London. The tube station is just few minutes away and takes roughly 45mins to central London.
The hotel itself is so well managed; everything super clean and neat. Service was outstanding all the way. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but coffee was good :)
The room itself was very small, but we dod not need much more space as we mainly just slept there.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit London, but...

”The hotel felt old in a good way, but the rooms - and especially the bathrooms - were up to date and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts in the sunny dining room and we left agreeing that the Alexander Pope was a hotel we would happily return to. It's also very convenient to central Twickenham and the 490 bus took us everywhere we needed to go.”

”Great stay and location was perfect for Kew the Music! Food was really good. Rooms were a bit dated and could use a refresh, although the bathroom was really nice with the added touch of toiletries.

”I would love to emphasise the helpfulness of the staff. My payment card kept being declined and not at anypoint they made me fell uncomfortable.
We managed tonwork towards the solution. Hence I hive a top mark for my stay. Eventhough the room was on top of a busy pub, I didnt hear a word of the crowd downstairs.
The room had a fan that helped a bit with the humid night but probably next time I will choose not the single room.

”Pyydettiin 2 erillistä sänkyä ja saatiin huone 120 cm "parisängyllä". No 120 cm parisänky on vain liian pieni kahdelle heteromiehelle. Lisäpeittoakaan ei saanut pyynnöstä huolimatta. Kissoja pyörii käytävillä lievästi pissa haisee ja matoja nousee suihkun kaivosta. Siistit vessat englantilaiseksi majataloksi. Turhia kalusteita huone täynnä.”

Tge reason for this is because for Value for money considering its London its really good especially with parking slots and the train station just down the road like a 3 minute walk. The staff were really good and helpful i didnt feel i needed anything more for the amount this cost me. Thank you to the gentleman who were at reception and were a friendly bunch. My son enjoyed his first visit to London and...

"Erityisesti tykkäsin henkilökunnan palvelualttiudesta. He auttoivat tilaamaan taksin ja korjasivat nopeasti kulpyhuoneen oven kahvan joka oli irtoamassa. Kylpyhuone oli moderni ja siisti. "4 stars for this hotel is way too much...the room smelled for mould. It was dark and corridors felt like "redrum". But absolutely worst part was the restaurant. Even though in the evening it was half-empty, it took over half 'n' hour to get the food. Yet once we got it fries were cold and daughter's pasta was swimming in butter though it was supposed to be some sort of a cream pasta. I'm not a cook but that had nothing to do with cream pasta. Neither waitress nor manager paid any attention to our claims. Same nonexisting service continued on breakfast. I could add that we had to fight for pur breakfast because there was hardly anything to serve. Worst hotel I've experienced for long time and I travel a lot..."
