”I stayed for a night with my partner recently and we were very happy with how kind and helpful the staff were, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, and the dinner we had at the adjoining pub! We would definitely stay here again 😊”

”The rooms are like student dormitories. The beds are worn out, the walls have marks, and the washrooms are ok. Breakfast was good.”

”Very friendly staff. They had time for you, which I feel in this day and age is unusual. Breakfast to suit you! Very dog friendly ,also good dog walking around, with poo bag dispensers and bins strategically placed around the village”

”Rooms are clean you adequate with all that we needed for an overnight stay. Negative was a lack of staff. Same person from reception was later working the bar along with others who all doubled as waiters meaning that a lot of the time there was no one available at the bar , so you had to go to reception to make a call ( because there was no one in reception) for someone to come to the bar. Drinks choice was not Great, plus they had also run out of many of the drinks. on the plus side the food...

”We had a wonderful stay and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We really appreciated the excellent service and would happily stay here again.”

”Paremman tasoinen kuin monet hotellit joissa Englannissa olen yöpynyt. Ei ollut kostea tai vetoisa laisinkaan vaikka alkukeväästä matkustimme. Huone oli siisti ja yleiset tilat kohtuullisen siistejä. Taksilla pääsee keskustaan muutamassa minuutissa ja kävellenkin jaksaa mennä.”

”Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend ..”

”Stayed a few times now. Rooms are getting a bit tired however they are immaculately clean. The shower pressure leaves a bit to be desired. However the staff are soo helpful and friendly and always seem cheery! The beer garden in the hot weather is a big plus plus it has a children's play area. I do enjoy my stays here and the food is good too. Good value for money”

”We arrived after 10pm the hotel were very helpful in leaving us a message on where to collect our room key from, the room was big and clean, bathroom was good too, we had an enjoyable breakfast too, very friendly & helpful staff.”

”Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !”

”This has become like our local. We love the hotel, it’s close to the shopping centre, lovely little area, good for children and peaceful. The only issue we found is the mattress was heavily stained, they could do with looking at these as the cleaners would notice this when making the bed and don’t pick up on it. Other than that, we still enjoyed our stay.”

”Lovely hospitality, nice food, nice room and very friendly staff. It might be an idea to inform the chef that a poached egg is not served with a lot of water swilling round the toast, otherwise marvellous. Convenient location”
