”On arrival all staff were most helpful. The room was excellent as was the food we had. An excellent break and will stay again.”

”Lovely warm room with comfy bed and immaculately clean linen. Tea, coffee and chocolate available together with biscuits. Bathroom spotless with minuature shower gels etc. Loads of breakfast choices with the cooked items cooked to perfection. Hosts very friendly. A five star experience.”

”Appreciate it was the hottest day of the year however a dirty old fan as the only source of cooling isn’t really acceptable. Hotel is in a great location, little bit tired but the member of staff on reception was excellent.”

”Really nicely appointed hotel and very comfortable. There is plenty of parking You are offered a good choice for breakfast and it is very reasonable. Downside, it does not do evening meals so you have to make alternative arrangements. Fortunately there are quite a few pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Great that you can take your dog but they are not allowed in the large breakfast room and you are seated in the lounge on a sofa with a coffee table. Bizarrely the reason given is...

”The space was great, in a brilliant location. The check in receptionist was so friendly and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars if the shower head was not broken, but we did manage to shower with difficulty. We reported it when checking out but felt we should have received some form of compensation. We understand these things happen so don't be put off, highly recommended!”

”Huoneet kohtalaisen tasokkaan Italialaisen ravintolan yläkerrassa. Kävelymatkan päässä rautatieasemalta. Ravintolan taustamusiikki kuuluu huoneeseen, mutta onneksi ravintola menee kiinni jo klo 23. Hyvä aamiainen vaikka ei ollut kuin osittain buffet (murot, leivät, hedelmät). Huoneissa ja käytävillä kokolattiamatto.”

”Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable ”

”What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!”

”Great stopover near M1 really decent food and drink good breakfast overall good experience only downside could hear upstairs flat when he came in and got up for early morning jog maybe blackout blinds for window and door glass other than that all good would definitely use again staff all very friendly and pleasant”
