”Spent a fantastic night here this past weekend, from the moment we checked in all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming (we were even wished a good morning by the housekeeping staff we passed in the corridor as we were leaving!), the food and service in the restaurant were also both good and breakfast in the morning offered a great selection of choices. ”Booked a junior suite for my son and his girlfriend as a treat on Christmas Day as they were visiting from another city. They loved the room and the breakfast too! They sent me videos of both, and the room looked clean and fresh and the breakfast was Full English and eggs Benedict with cups of tea in cute teacups. You drive through a park to get to this hotel. ”Breakfast was good, but the black lady at breakfast was extremely rude to our family. She said and I quote "your kids need to wear clothes to breakfast and they will not be allowed tomorrow to have breakfast if they don't wear clothes" to make things clear, my children were wearing onsies and she had an issue with it. The next day another lady was doing the job and she was lovely to us. The funny thing was that we spotted a huge American group of girls who were ALL wearing pyjamas and nobody...

”Stayed here for the first time, short stay of one night staff were very friendly, receptionist was lovely and welcoming, room was spacious and clean, comfy bed and all facilities in working order.. would definitely stay again. ”

”Breakfast was not good. Only 2 pieces of bacon left and 1 hash brown. Also was never told they charge you an extra £20 for checking in before 3pm. Luckily the receptionist did have a room ready so gave it to me without charging. This is something to look out for.”

”The caretaker Paul didnt know we were coming and initially was more interested in his amazon parcels, told us the owner books people and dosent tell him (happens all the time) id booked one double and one single with 3 beds on the same floor - I got one double with single beds in the attic and my children the 3 bed a floor below us. ”Lovely staff, very friendly. The guesthouse is located a bit away from the town centre, but for me that was fine. It was anyway in a walking distance from bus station (that I needed). My room was nice with a fridge, television and a possibility to make tea. Also wi-fi. All the facilities (toilet and shower) were in a corridor, but they were nice and clean and as there were only a couple of rooms, I never had to wait for my turn.”
