”Perfect location”

”This hotel gets an A+ from me for several reasons. The hotel is very clean and in a very good location in Rapid City. The breakfast every morning was awesome with a lot of selections plus an array of fruit. The scones, though, were our absolute favorite breakfast treat. We were also lucky enough to be staying on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday which is when they offer a "Social Menu" from 5:30-7pm which comfortably fed my family of four with a delicious main entree and side dish, salad bar,...

”The property was very walkable to places to eat. The small bar closest to the front desk was very busy and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. She was not only tending bar, but she was also taking food orders and serving them. The property has a lot of tour bus groups and that is why everything was busy. We received a $15 drink and food perk, but didn't use it because it was never mentioned when we were in the bar.”

”I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. The room was ready and clean as was the bathroom. The breakfast ok…nothing that stood out. I was disappointed that there was no water dispenser or pitcher available when we checked out. Leaving the key cards in the bin made checking out quick.”

”We enjoyed our close proximity to the pool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was okay but a bit pricey. The bed was very uncomfortable and the carpet appeared to be in need of cleaning throughout the halls and room.”

”The room smelled terrible. It looked clean on the surface but smelled filthy. We couldn’t find the smell and had to keep the window open to try to circulate fresh air. The bedding was completely torn beyond repair. The cotton bedspread was frayed from end to end and the cotton inside was falling out. I was thankful I brought my own blanket. The curtains were also damaged similarly. The hotel was difficult to find as there is inadequate signage from the main road and the hotel is located behind...

”After having a bad stay at a hotel in Wyoming, walking into this MicroTel was a dream. The rooms were perfect with nice pillows and mattresses and the clerk said that the property was just newly remodeled, and it looked it. Breakfasts were nice with enough selections to accommodate any morning appetite. Hats off to Rapid City MicroTel!”
